Sourced from 40 year old south and south east facing vines across the Chalonnais region. Is there a better and more affordable red Burgundy on the market?
This Region: Burgundy, France
Grape: Pinot Noir
Tasting: This is a deliciously ripe, soft succulent red fruit, pureed raspberry and blackberry, some vanilla oak and a touch of spice, balanced by a fresh ‘lift’ of acidity and long finish. A super every day drinking red Burgundy. The grapes are 100% de-stemmed after harvest. 25% is aged in both Foudres and barrels, with a use of 1-5yr old French oak barrels. The remaining 75% is fermented in stainless steel tank.
ABV: 13.5%
