Amrut Indian Whisky Tasting
Wed 2 Apr 2025, 19:30 - 21:30
£35.00
Amrut was established in 1948 and is still owned by the Jagdale family. They were the first Indian distillery to release a single malt and they continue to make whisky that can rival that from Scotland. Due to its location, Amrut enjoys an accelerated maturation of its whiskies (3-4 times that of Scotland) however the Angel’s share can be 15% per year. The distillery takes its name from the elixir of life in Indian mythology – ‘Amrut’.
