We are constantly monitoring the situation and government guidelines regarding our operations. Local FREE DELIVERY is available subject to a minimum £15 (within Royston)/£50 (Villages) spend, otherwise a £4 delivery fee applies. For many local areas, delivery is ‘same day’ (see below for details and delivery days). We also now offer national delivery via DHL to most mainland UK areas, for a flat rate of £6.95.
How does it work?
Place your order via our online shop. At the checkout you will be presented with delivery options based on your postcode. If you prefer to order by telephone or email, please scroll down for further details.
Collection: specify in the notes section (at check out) when you would like to collect. You can either come in to collect, simply call us when you are outside the shop and we can bring your order to your car.

National delivery: Flat rate £6.95 with DHL to most mainland UK locations. Order by 12 noon Monday-Friday for delivery next working day.
Local delivery: Flat rate £4 with free delivery available based on minimum spend (does not include tobacco products). Our delivery days are Thursday–Saturday. Local delivery is to postcode sectors SG8 5*, SG8 6*, SG8 7*, SG8 9*, SG8 0*, SG7 5*, SG7 6*, SG9 0* and SG9 9*. Zones and maps are below:
- Zone: Royston Centre: Spend over £15 for free delivery. Same-day delivery for orders received before 3pm.
- Zone: Royston Extended : Spend over £50 for free delivery. Same-day delivery for order received before 2pm.
- Zone: Royston Outer: Spend over £50 for free delivery. Delivery is next-day (sometimes we might get to you same-day, but it is not guaranteed).
If the delivery property is not accurate on Google Maps or is tricky to find/access, we appreciate you providing additional directions in the Order Notes!
Someone over the age of 18 must be at home to accept the delivery. There is no need to sign anything — we will leave your purchase on your doorstep then call you. We will wait at a distance to make sure that you have received your goods.
Delivery drivers will wear clinical gloves and take all necessary COVID-19 precautions when picking and delivering your items. Scroll down for more info on COVID safety.
What are the local delivery zones?
Local delivery is to postcode sectors; SG8 5*, SG8 6*, SG8 7*, SG8 9*, SG8 0*, SG7 5*, SG7 6*, SG9 0* and SG9 9* with same-day delivery available in Royston Centre (purple area) and Royston Extended (red area). For the Royston Outer zone (yellow area), delivery is next-day.

How do I order?
The easiest way to order is using our online shop – your order will be processed and payment will be taken immediately.
You can also order by telephone (01763 247076) or email (email@example.com). Please note that our telephone line may not always be manned. In this case, send us an email, including a contact telephone number, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Note that the delivery deadlines are for orders placed and paid for. We cannot guarantee turnaround time for payment processing of telephone or email orders. If you urgently require your order, we recommend using the online system.
How do I pay?
If you order online, your payment will be taken immediately and your order will go straight to processing. We do not store any of your card details – everything is handled securely by global payment processor Stripe.
We are accepting cash & card for in-store purchases.
If you email us we will respond as soon as possible to confirm your order details, and will take payment over the phone. Similarly, orders placed by telephone can be paid for over the phone.
Note that we have limited staff and the phone is not always manned at this time.
What is available?
Whilst we have a wide range of stock (around 3,000 wines), we do not hold significant quantities of many items to be able to guarantee same day delivery. The image below shows a small selection of products we generally hold larger quantities of. Please feel free to call us on 01763 247076 if you’d like to discuss something different.
Tobacco products are only available as ‘add-ons’ and do not count towards minimum order spend.
What safety measures do you have to protect against COVID-19?
All procedures will be updated in line with government guidelines. Updates can be found further down the page.
- Zero-contact deliveries:

- We will call to let you know our approximate arrival time.
- We will leave your items at your front door or agreed location.
- We will call you (not ring the doorbell) to let you know that your items have arrived.

- Clinical gloves are worn when picking orders and making deliveries.

Monday 8th March 2021: Shop re-opening & update of local delivery days/times
We are delighted to be able to open our shop again, while still practicing social distancing and taking all precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our shop will be open to customers wearing masks from 10am–9pm, Monday through Saturday, and from 12pm–6pm on Sundays. We are now offering our local delivery service exclusively on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. For further information on order deadlines, delivery zones, and our safety precautions, see above. Tuesday 5th January 2021: Operational days/hours updates
Based on recent government announcements and the increase in local cases of COVID, we have made the decision to close our physical shop for your safety and the safety of our staff, friends and family. We will however be continue to provide home delivery and ‘click and collect’ services. Our ours of operation and order deadlines have been updated.
Tuesday 11th November 2020: National Delivery & update of local delivery zones
Our initial systems for local zones were very manual. If you’ve ever worked with postcodes, you’ll realise how tricky creating local zones is! We now have local zones in place and the checkout process should be much smoother. Small adjustments have had to be made to the old manual zones. Additionally, we have been able to add a national delivery service which covers most locations in mainland UK.
Monday 30th March 2020: Online ordering
This evening we have made available a new online ordering system to help streamline our home delivery service and ensure we can get deliveries out on time. As you can imagine, taking orders over the phone or via email is a time consuming process that is further compounded by our social distancing restrictions and constant surface cleaning. We encourage you to try our new online ordering system (especially if you urgently require your delivery!).
We’ll be updating and adding more items over the coming weeks — including mixed ‘wine club’ style surprise boxes. Meanwhile, if there’s anything you’d particularly like added do drop us an email. Also, if there’s something you’d like that is not on the list please give us a call &/or send us an email!
Delivering our little boxes of happiness makes us happy! We hope it cheers you up too during these unfortunate times.
Saturday 28th March 2020:
Please get your order in before 5pm to receive your delivery today (Saturday)! NOTE that our next delivery day will be TUESDAY. We are closing tomorrow for a much needed break. On Monday we will work on processing your orders, then we will be out delivering again Tuesday-Saturday.

Wednesday 25th March 2020:
After careful investigation, we have been advised that we can continue with our home delivery service. The Government has shut down non-essential retail shops but is encouraging delivery services to help people staying at home.
Please be assured that we will continue to follow all Government guidelines and are doing the following:
- No-contact deliveries. We will leave your items at your front door, then call you (not ring the doorbell) to let you know that your items have arrived.
- Regular surface sanitising.
- Regular hand-washing and clinical gloves are worn when picking orders and making deliveries.
- Maximum of 2 people working together, practicing social distancing.
This is a hard time for everyone, and we hope that we can provide a service that can bring a little comfort and help to limit supermarket trips.
We have been in touch with our local MP to make him aware of our activities and will continue to offer this service for as long as we feel it is safe and conforms to Government guidelines.
