Join us in store for a brand new kind of tasting! Over three Wednesday evenings in April, May and June, Amelia invites you for an informal and fun night of wine tasting with nibbles for beginners!
Wine can be confusing. Swirling, sniffing, mysterious tasting notes, and wine lists that read like a foreign language. This series is here to change that.
Our Wine Basics events are made for beginners and wine lovers of all ages – no jargon, no pressure – just good wine, nibbles, simple explanations, and the confidence to actually enjoy what you’re drinking.
These events are casual and interactive. Ask questions, interrupt, laugh, disagree, and taste along with the group. If you’ve ever been afraid to ask a wine question, this is exactly the place to do it. It’s more conversation than lecture, and the focus is on learning by tasting.
We’ll cover how to taste wine without overthinking it, how to order better (and stress less) in restaurants, and the essential things you need to know to make sense of the wine world.
At each tasting we’ll cover new ideas and different wines, so you don’t have to come to all three dates, but if you can then you’ll go from beginner to expert in no time!
The best part? Every wine we taste will offer great value for money, because great wine doesn’t need to be expensive.
