As a specialist wine shop, it is common for us to see scores and awards on wines given by different wine writers, specialists, and organizations. How about whiskies?
Similar but different.
There are several international awards for spirits. There are also some whisky enthusiasts who build their own websites and record their scores. WhiskyFun is probably the most reputable one.
In our Whisky Club tasting this month, Kenneth will share about stories behinds those awards and discuss on the point-based systems.
Meanwhile, we will taste at least five high scorers at WhiskyFun – a good reference to keep us walking along our whisky journeys and a great comparison of tasting notes and what we can actually taste in a live tasting.
