Funkstille Grüner Veltliner, Austria 12.5%
‘Funkstille’, meaning ‘radio silence’, is the perfect wine to kick back and take a moment of calm. Grüner Veltliner, with its subtle exotic fruit notes as well as pear and fresh citrus, is a wonderfully refreshing and easy-to-drink Austrian wine. A lovely dry wine to enjoy in the sunshine.

Domaine Gayda Chardonnay, Languedoc-Roussillon 13.5%
Impeccably made, with just a suggestion of oak to lift the fruit. Like Chablis, but without the price tag. Every time I have some kind of chicken dish I buy this wine. Honestly, it’s too good.

Domaine Les Yeuses Le Petit Merlot, Pays d’Oc 13.0%
I just love this wine. The flavours leap out of the glass and the palate is juicy and really well balanced. Plump, lush fruit, cocoa powder and a nice leafy note on the finish. Good enough for a fillet steak and cheap enough to crack open midweek.

Domaine Des Soulanes ‘Patchwork’, Languedoc, France 14.2%
I’m really enjoying my Languedoc reds at the moment, and this is a beauty; a balanced blend of Grenache and Carignan, giving plenty of fruit, a streak of minerality and a rounded but soft texture. Lovely stuff.

My go-to malbec! Rich yet juicy, with lots of dark red fruit, a touch of spice and a silky palate. Great on its own or with BBQ meats and pizza.

It’s back! Yes, our favourite summer rosé is back on the shelves. A delicious blend of Merlot, Tannat, Cabernet, Malbec and Syrah creates a flavoursome rosé with delicate notes of strawberry and a creamy palate. The well-balanced acidity makes this wine very moreish – you have been warned!
